I was convinced that this thread was inside the "dark void".

Playing with the 820 still; the Vdroop is awful - don't have a multimeter but BIOS says 1.6V, CPU says 1.536V, drops to below 1.5 V occasionally. LLC causes bouts of overheating and shutting off. I'm EIGHT Mhz from 4.1 GHz, and determined to get there! It gets me no more TPP or HWP, but I'm determined to get a 4.1 GHz valid.

This chip will be fun sub-zero I'm sure.

EDIT: I give up ... feels like a wall. If 0.2 V doesn't get you a single MHz, there's little to be done I think.

Got some extra points out of revisiting UCBench on a couple of chips. I've got the 840 in now but *SCARY MUSIC* I'm out of thermal paste :-\ This will be the last chip I play with for a week or so.
