DDR pc1600 or pc2100 or pc2700????

I was just wondering does it really matter if its pc1600 or pc 2100 and so on?? whats the difference?

those numbers are the theoretical bandwidth of the ram
more is better
so pc1600 runs slowest @100 mhz
pc2100 runs well @133 mhz
and pc2700 runs fast @ 166mhz
