DDR333 on Abit KR7A-133R???

Been trying to get my new kr7a-133r to boot. It keeps locking up the floppy. I'm using samsung ddR333 pc2700 memory. Have read that the board is not compatiable with this memory. Used factory
default settings in the bios. Could this be the reason that I can't bootup? I thought the board was bad and sent it back to Newegg this afternoon. Running a new 1800+xp also. Anybody else run into this problem?

all you have to do is reverse the floppy cable i did the same thing

Thanks, but I tried that early on. The light stayed on and locked the system when it was being accessed.
