I love the idea of a pre-order on (likely) a fully digital product. This isn't like the local Game Stop only getting twenty copies at launch and you want to ensure a copy. Even most pre-order bonuses are laughable. "Oh you get a custom skin! That we'll probably give out for free three months after launch."

I played the first game not knowing what it would be. Probably one of the best games I've ever played. Looking very forward to this game.

Man Control 2 and Death Stranding 2... I really need a new GPU.

I only got ot through the first chapter but the only blatant advertising I remember was for Monster.

I don't remember any advertisement through the game. I played the ultimate whatever package that was on sale with steam. It was just a complete package with all the DLCs and things. Seemed like the majority of players had moved on from the game as the real time multiplier stuff didn't happen often.

IIRC it was, like mentioned above, a Monster energy drink as an in game item, or something like that...

Norman Reedus' little conex box home had cans of monster you can interact with. And I want to say you had a canteen that "converted" water into the stuff.

Dunno why. If you're living during the apocalypse, I say skip the energy drinks and go straight to the booger sugar.
