debug log error

upon shutting down windows the shut down hangs and an error pops up saying debug log error for drive c: could someone help me fix this.

yeah, saying windows is like asking "what's wrong with my car"

try this:

close IE
goto the command line (start-run-cmd)
you should be in the c drive.
type chkdsk (enter)
if it comes up with errors do this:
type chkdsk /f (enter)
say yes with statup.
restart system and it should be going through the chkdsk mode.

if that doesn't fix it then it can go from there

yes thankyou but that was the first thing I did and no go. Actually I just performed a System Restore which fixed it, but wouldnt mind if there is another way in the future to do it.

sounds like the file just got corrupted in that case.
