Decent cheap smartwatches for notifications?

Had an Omate Truesmart i used as a companion for a long time. The watch itself is still awesome (dual core 1ghz cpu with 1gb ram/8gb rom, and 600mah battery) but the companion app i used is no longer supported and doesn't work well anymore for me. It was called Swapplink. My phone is a galaxy s7 edge.

Anyways, i was looking for recommendations on a decent cheap notifier/companion smartwatch. As long as battery life can get me through a full day, im happy with it. I plug in all my devices to charge overnight anyways. Browing amazon gave me a few results but its hard to tell. Wasn't sure where else to ask, or what forum/site might be better to ask, so figured id start here.

ended up going with the Sony after some feedback from a different guy over on G+.

Sorry; I'd have chimed in, but the only smart watches I've ever looked into are ones I can't afford. Didn't even know there was really a market for cheap ones.

Learn something new every day. I keep getting positive feedback from some smartwatch/regular watch pros over on G+ so maybe thats the hot ticket for a good budget companion smartwatch overall.

Its a 1.6 inch screen. My Omate Truesmart was 1.54 and the LG Watch is 1.65 so i dont think its all that big. But i guess on smaller wrists or women it might look sort of big. SW2 dimensions are 1.65 x 1.61 x 0.35 in, Omate Truesmart is 1.77 x 1.77 x .55 in (and this one didnt feel all too big on my wrist), and the LG G Watch 1.49 x 1.83 x .39 in. In pics it does look a little big i guess but its on par with everything out there it seems like.

Seems that way lol. But yeah, i feel the same about big watches being "in." Oh well. I wonder if being a flat square instead of sort of rectangular like the G Watch is contributing to making it look bigger or something. I guess we'll see when it arrives tomorrow!
