Sure, but it's not because of the weight of the heatsink was my point. That could be it with large coolers with only 4 mounting points, but this monster is held on.

Weight has nothing to do with anything when you are talking about clamping force against the die and the cooler. Some Tims pump, and some TIMs slump..
