Dell : Before or after Christmas?

Simple question, does dell usually offer better deals before or after christmas? although i am living/buying in ireland, i assume that the same trends would apply worldwide.

they used to have pretty good deals with the christmas game each year. but as of late, it seems the stackable coupons aren't nearly as good as they once were.

dell is not doing much in the way of coupons and probably wont in the forseeable future. This comes from 2 different dell reps that I do business with on a daily basis.

I've noticed the same, Dell coupons have been kind of bland as of late, guess I will wait it out, to bad since I was going to purchase a new desktop.

with the SEC investigating thier P&L practices dell has had to attempt to maintain profitability accross the different divisions. to give an example. the TrueMobile 350 Bluetooth adapter has about 75 different SKU numbers with each having a different profit level and margin. dell has always monkied with profitability by changing the cost on a sku. well lets be real the 350 costs dell the same regardless of division or system its going in. to try to resolve the issue they have stopped all of the uber coupons going on. and are revamping thier software systems.

Dell has a 25% off Inspiron coupon now which is very nice, but I in the mail i received something for SMB that gives instant savings + extra 100 off when used during checkout. Its like a greeting card with a gingerbread man on it and coupons codes in the middle.
