DUDE I got a DELL!! Its and Inspirion 7500 laptop (P3 500mhz with 8 meg vid) I was wondering if its possible to upgrade the video and processor to bring this thing up to date. Anyone have any ideas?

Doubt it.

Laptops have very limited upgrade options: hard drive and ram are about it.

Other than that you can plug USB stuff in, or use PC Cards.

That's enough to play NFS III, or even so good ol' fashioned UT with the settings turned down a bit.

But as for upgrading it - probably not. As rogerdugans stated, HDD and RAM are really your only options. Upgrading the video would entail upgrading the mo-bo, which would also require upgrading the chip, most likely.
