im running a kt7 raid motherboard ,1gig tbird, and a hedgehog with a delta fan . my question is the delta to big to run off the motherboard, and if I switch it to the power supply, how do I get the fan rpm monitor to work, leave the blue wire hooked to the board??

I cut the RED and BLACK wires of the fan at the end close to the 3pin connector leaving the BLUE one there still plugging in the 3pin header on the board, and then connect the RED and BLACK wires of the fan respectively to the YELLOW and BLACK wires of the 4pin header that comes from the PSU. In this way, my Delta fan is able to use the power from the PSU and to keep the rpm reading at the same time.
