I'm looking into the DFI boards and is the SLI infinity a bad overclocker and do i have to get the DFI lanparty ultra-d and get the sli mod?

While the NF4 Infinity overclocks very well the Ultra-D is the one that was designed for overclocking.
Some Bios issues with Infinity (fluctuating CPU temp readout) but I'm sure they'll be resovled soon.
I like the looks of the Ultra-D personnaly

I am going to agree with soundx98 on this, The Ultra-D has proven itself and the Infinity while a nice board still has some issues that need to be resolved.

The DFI nF4 Ultra-D is right now known to be the most flexible and versitile overclocking motherboard on the market. It gives the user options and capabilities that pretty much no other motherboard will give. It all falls under the Genie Bios settings inside the BIOS. The downside of it is that its known to be the most spoiled mobo too lol. The long short of it is that you really need to have the reccomended ram (OCZ works best) for it otherwise youll be getting BSOD city. Thats why its known to be a mobo only designed for experts who know what theire doing. Also its very BIOS picky. Pretty much every system will differ on what bios this mobo will preffer so be ready with 3 or 4 bios floppies if u r planning to buy this mobo. As for me, i am no expert and the reason why i have it running perfectly is becuase i had an expert to tell me what to do step by step. But anyways, if you need any help you can PM me anytime, ill be more than glad to help you out.
