hey guys, how does one run diagnostics to hdds while in RAID 0? Windows wont run scandisk for me even if I schedule it on startup, let alone a surface scan which is what I really want to do. runnin XP in case that makes a difference, and all partitions are NTFS. I couldnt even use good old 98 scandisk cause my siz is ntfs right :(?

How about running good 'ol chkdsk? chkdsk on NT is alot different than chkdsk on win9x. I know you can just type "chkdsk" at the command line, and I believe [Start][Run...] "chkdsk" will work too.

It might require a restart though...some parts of chkdsk only work upon startup. Oh, and you can set chkdsk to run upon startup too if you'd like.
