Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! *runs around room screaming*
After flashing my mobo, an IWILL KK-266R, with the latest bios update, my computer will no longer boot when I set the jumper to the 133MHz DRAM clock. The default 100Mhz works fine though. Also, when I tell Windows to shut down, it just sits there and then the harddrive begins to stutter, making a weird noise. I have to shut down manually by turnign off the PSU. I've run a bunch of diagnostics on my hard drive, an IBM 75GXP 30.0, and it's fine. I'm pretty sure I know what I did wrong: I flashed the BIOS while running overclocked settings, D-O-H!
My question is: does anyone know what I can do to get back to 266Mhz FSB luvin? Having to turn the power supply off is annoying as hell, and I have concerns over how it may affect my PSU in the long run.
Guys, I am so desperate, PLEASE HELP!!! The IWILL tech support, while prompt in their response, was in horrible English and offered no solutions.
