xt has 16 piplines, pro & x800 have 12 pro has higher core rates then the normal x800 but less than xt so if you can afford iy the xt is the best bet,

erm.

I'm fairly certain there is no such thing as a plain X800. The only models are the pro and the XT... in north america at least...

Like he said, XT has 16 graphic pipelines and slightly higher clock rates then the pro (although some pros can overclock just as far if not further)

I guess the difference between the XT and XT PE are that PE has slightly higher clocks on the mem and core.

Thats what I thought but if you look at the X300-X800 sticky they show the Xt running at 500 on the core and the pe running 520 on the core. I can't confirm they really are to seperate cards but thats what I am getting. Guess you could always check the specs on the ATI website or something.

ATI Radeon X800 XT: 16 pipes, 500 core, 1000 mem
ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition: 16 pipes, 520 core, 1120 mem
