Hey All. I'm moving and can't borrow my roommate's camera anymore. I need to buy a new one. I recently got 400 dollars in Circuit City Gift Card. Joy. That will help pay my bills. LOL, since I can't get cash and I need a camera as well as a vid card I need help.

What is the Best Camera to by right now? I am looking at least a 3 MP camera. I saw the Sony P10 and that looks nice.

So far I am leaning towards the following models

Sony P10 for $310 AR
Fuji A210 for $180

Any other brand and model might be useful, please help. Personal exp greatly appreciated. It has to be available from CC plz.

Can you be more specific? Like how much you paid? What you like about it and what you hate or wish they had improved plz?

Edit: GAH CC does not have the G3 or G4. They have the G5 and that is like 700 dollars

yup get a canon powershot those are some of the best digital cameras i have ever seen.

Check out a Canon A70 for close to $300. It's not tiny and not huge, but is a good 3MP digital camera; do a search, lots of reviewers agree. If you want to play, you can manually adjust all or some of the settings or set it to auto and point-n-shoot. For $100 or so, you can add a telephoto or wide-angle lens to extend the useful range of the camera lens. The 3X optical zoom plus 2.4x telephoto is nice. Guess who got a new camera for Christmas :D

Thanks all, I decided after checking all the cameras I went with the Sony. The canon was nice but was a little bulky for what I had intended. Can't go wrong with a 5MP camera for 310 AR
