dirt 2 benchmark droped from 46FPS to 38FPS

after i installed batman AA and Nvidia PhysX (the game won't work without it )

this is the only game effected

What gives?

Disable physX from nvidia control panel. But then your PPU would be your CPU which isnt exactly the fastest out there. See what happens.

The 3850 is 3 generations old...sorry to say its now considered a low end card.

Yeah I can run it on my 8800gt but it ain't anything spectacular.

I must have been thinking of a another thread and replied here.

Yeah, thats a pretty low end card. Some settings must have changed or an overclock not put back, something. Cards dont just 'lose performance'. Can you disable the PhysX (regardless of card that question is valid and has not been answered)?

You could try uninstalling batman, just to see if it really is the cause, doesn't seem like it should be a problem, but you never know. Also, like Earth said, check all of your OC's to make sure they didn't revert for some reason.
