Disabling sideband problems..

I read the article on disabling sideband on mb's with the via chipset, which i have... the only problem is that in the regedit there are no options for sideband disabling.. The article gave a link to where i can get this via agp upgrade which allows u to change this setting but the link did not work and i have had no luck findin this upgrade....
Can anyone point me in the right direction...
