When I increase the fsb from within Windows via the "Clockometer" program that came with the FIC AD11, everything works fine. I can run at 11 x 138 or 10.5 x 144 all month long without any problems or errors.

However, if I try to change the FSB via the bios, I get a "disk read error" at the end of post. It says "disk read error, press ctrl-alt-del to reboot." What gives?? Any ideas?

I know that when I increase the FSB with Clockometer, it is definitely changing the FSB. When I look in WCPUID, it says
System Clock: 138.01
System Bus: 276.02
Multiplier: 11
Internal Clock: 1518.12

Well, I found the answer to my own question, so I thought I would post it for those who might need the info.

After disabling the "IDE Prefetch Mode" in the bios, I can now boot fine with an overclocked bus.
