Ok, so i've finally go together the bits for my bro's new computer - duron 600, KT7, GF2MX, the lot - and after spending the whole day getting the damn thing to install windows, I find my asus cd has a huge crack in it! Not a scratch, or even a gouge, but a dirty great crack!! WTF?? Phew - calm down - sorry, it's been one of those days ;-)

Anyway, my question is - is there anything vitally important on that cd, and is it worth sending off for a replacement? Can I download what's on it (if it's the via 4in1 drivers or some hardware monitoring utility, adobe acrobat, etc.)? Any advice would be great, cos I bet if I have to get another off Abit they won't get it to me until after christmas - and I can't wait! Thanks,

The only thing I found useful on the cd for my kt7-raid was directx 7 the 4in1 drivers the raid drivers and via hwm, and that was only so I didn't have to down load them

Thanks for the replies guys - I've used the VIA 4 in 1 drivers from my A7V cd (bet Abit would be chuffed to hear that ;-) ), and I've got mbm5 now so that solves the hardware monitoring problem - as an aside, I've got the duron to 892MHz stable at 1.85V - not what I was hoping ofr, but I'll give it a burn in and try better cooling and we'll see how it goes. 4000+ on 3DMark2k for £540 - can't complain I guess!
