do i need water wetter if im gonna run a res setup? im a noob and dunno what im doing....if i do need it, can anyone gimmi a link to buy it that has free shipping?

Water Wetter will help keep the germies away and also lower your temps by a degree or 2.

You don't have to use water wetter, but you do want to use **something** so the water in your loop doesn't become a breeding chamber for stuff growing (algae).

It's mainly an anti-corrosion additive, though. It is used in the automotive industry too.

I use InnovaProtect fluid myself which is designed for use in H2O cooling systems. You will need additives like these regardless whether you have a resevoir or not.

:noob and dunno what im doing: careful there partner, water cooling can be a tad dangerous if you don't knwo what your doing

make an effort to read as much as you can before you venture out int he world of wc....

just a bit of advice cuz there are laot of horror stories

Some one talked about using algicide a couple days ago. I may buy some of that because I have to admit that water wetter doesn't have the best smell. I'm not sure if it helps with battery effect though.
