Do the retail 939 fans work with s754?

I just want to know if I could use the retail fan from a 3800+ on my DFI 250Gb. I never had a s754 fan (went oem straight to water) and I don't have the 3800+ yet, so I guess I'm just curious right now

Ah guess I should've said heatsink instead of just retail fan.

I just remembered DTRs can't use the retail heatsinks even if they are for s754 because they don't have the heatspreader so they won't come in contact with heatsink anyay

The CPU dimentions are the same IHS is the same size. All the differences are internal and the pins.

edit: Sorry didn't know that the DTR was the mobile CPU
