My new lady and I found this site yesterday and spent the day doing this mod and it works awesome. It involves soldering but it is pretty simple. Be sure if you start raising the v-core that high, you better have MASSIVE cooling!! I will post new mhz figures when I get the time to play with it. I forgot how much time it takes to date. =o)

Can you actually overclock a Duron with this motherboard and the 2.8 release bios? The bios seems to have minimal controls, and even with the L1 bridges closed, I can't get anywhere. I'm beginning to think this board isn't so hot after all.

I've had the same problem with my Duron 750. No matter what I did, it wouldn't unlock. So, I just set it up to run on a 133 bus. You have to set everything up in the bios the way you want it before removing J17. After you've set it up, restart the system, the immediately kill the power on the power box. (Don't use the front panel switch) Unplug the power cable, and then press the switch on the front of the computer. You should see you h/d and cdrom lights flicker. Press it a few times, to drain all the residual power out of the system, and then plug it all back in a power up. You may have to do this several times, so be patient. My little Duron is running at 1020 mhz right now (7.5 x 136), rock stable. I've had higher, but I get the occasional lock up. Just make sure to burn your cpu in for a while before hand, and you may need to get a new heatsink. Use a Windows based temperature monitor to watch your system temp...I think Fuzzy Logic 3 has a temp gauge. Although I can't use Fuzzy Logic at these clock speeds, I get a Blue Screen 'O Death when I try. Hope this helps.
