Does anyone here use FARSTONE GameDrive?

I'm thinking about buying this, anyone here have any experience using this Program? Newegg has it for $19 shipped, if it does what it claims to how can I go wrong?

I USE IT, AND I LOVE IT!! It is the best $20 I ever spent on software. You can install stuff so much faster, load maps and such faster and it is so nice to not have to look for you CD's all the time. you can just put them away. The only problem I have had is it does not work for UT2003 or KOTOR for me so far and I even updated it. GET IT!

I appreciate the info, Its a shame as all I want is my game that I bought legally to load in the shortest amount of time. I only Play battlefield 1942 and its a resource hog of a game and I simply want to maximize my experience. Warez pirates suck and are ruining my experience

BF1942 works just great with Game Drive!

I think you can do this with Daemon tools or whatever it's called.

Crashoverride was doing this a while back I remember.

Like mounting optical drives or something.

You can use Alcohol 120% to create perfect images of the cd.

i use clone cd's virtual drive and it works great.this looks to be along those same lines so i'm sure it would be pretty good

I have used all three of those programs and they are great. I prefer Clone CD and Daemon tools. Daemon tools is free too. Then rip the image with any program, Clone CD has the highest success rate for me, but I got the Pro version, I dont know about the trial one for that.

Anyone know why whenever I try to make a copy of a game CD I always get an unrecovered read error and it doesn't work.

I'm using Disk Juggler and I've tried copying C&C Generals and Max Payne 2. And I'm using a Lite-On 52X CDRW drive.
