As stated in the topic I would like to know how many watts the fan headers on a abit se6 can supply. I want to put a delta 38 on my alpha 6035. I want to keep the rpm monitoring ability. I wrote abit about this and they never replied. Whats with that, they won't even give technical support.
And does anyone know if you can just attach the rpm (blue wire) to the fan header and still have rpm monitoring capability, while drawing power off of the power supply connectors.

I finally contacted abit and they told me that the se6 can support up to .5 amps at 12 volt. And that would be 6 watts. Only took them two weeks and three messages..

Abit may mean that the fan risers can support 6 Watts in total. I advise NOT connecting a 38 cfm Delta to any mainboard. Rpm monitoring is not necessary. Your ears will do all the necessary monitoring.

And I asvise taking the Delta fan and throwing it into a delta as in the river bed delta. I couldn't stand the noise!?!$$$$###!!!!!

I exchanged it for a stock Sunon fan. I also bought a Sanyo Denki fan. The Sanyo is supposed to be quieter, but I could hear a high pitched noise with the Sanyo that annoyed me. I am considering some other low noise fans!!
