Under the heatsink there are these golden layer with 4 rubber hole that is use to directly sit on the CPU 4 rubber, and it's on 1 side. So it left extra heatsink not cover with golden layer under and on the side, is this the normal look for it?
When you install it on the CPU doesn't the heatsink sitting unbalance because it will sit almost on just one side of the CPU since the golden layer is not in the center. Need explanation. Thanks
 
I just got my Alpha 6035 yesterday and from looking at the instructions it looks like it sits with the raised underside over the lever to release the cpu. I will install it tomorrow as I'm heading out of town right now and don't have any time now.
 
I am using one, and if you put it on a TBird or Duron, just don't attach the extra rubber feet. They are for Coppermines. Otherwise follow the instructions.
