ok [this is b4 i burned my chip btw!] i have been having problems when i try to run any game the screen scrambles,and it is a hercules prophet mx with the mx400 chipset, i RMA'd it and the same .reformatted no difference, played with all settings ,re set bios to default, changed my ram,NEW MONITOR, RRRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH>....cant getthe damn thing to work so im thinking maybe the agp slot is stuffed? anybody got an idea about this? thanks

Have you tried different drivers for the card ?
And do you have DirectX8 installed?
It sounds to me like driver issues. Because if the card is working fine until you try to play games I would defenately say drivers. My voodoo card does the same thing to me, works fine until I try to play games, I install the latest drivers and it works fine.
