Wilson --- if you have any MOBOs left I could use them. esp pentium ones, but anything will do.

Gator -- both of those CPUs would work great!

PM me for shipping talks, etc. if you still have the stuff

Soren, I sent you a PM last night.

I have an incomplete system that could be used for folding. Its a P3-800. All I need is a power supply, HD, NIC. And thats it I think. I have Proc/heatsink,mobo,ram,vid card, case, cdrom. Am I forgetting anything? So a cheap PS, HD, and NIC is all I need.

I have to offer a Socket A heatsink, a crappy modem, and a mini PS that came with a compaq. Think I could use that in the folding rig? I also have a few extra 80mm fans in my old case that I won't be using. So if anyone needs those things for a folding computer, ask.

By the way, I joined team our folding team about 12 hours ago, and my name still isn't on their list. Is something wrong? I have at least 40 parts of a WU so far. Anyone know how often they update their site?

I may be interested in the incomplete system---

I think you're reading it as 40/100 WUs... 100/100 = 1 WU, it's a ratio of how many to 1 you have. Your name will appear on the list after you've hit 100/100 :)

The PM --- OOPS! I'll check that out, sorry!!

Yeah I'm an idiot about the WU's. Anyway I still want to keep my system as a backup, but all i need to make it complete are those things.

I don't need those things you have for backup, but someone may!! Right now I probably have too much shipping to pay for other things up for grabs :)

How many watt PSU would help, what else do you need, specifically, to help your backup rig out?

I have no clue how much I need. I'd like to think 200w would be good, but I just don't know. I'm going to try and find a cheap hard drive and NIC. Then I can try out the cheapo mini one I have and see if that works.

I talked to one of my buddies at work today, and he suggested asking my boss if we have any extra HD's, NICs, or PSUs. Supposedly they are about to donate a bunch of 10 base NICs, but I don't know. Maybe I can get one of those, then a Hard Drive hopefully. Then my old comp will be happy to do anything. Even if all it is is folding.
Fold On!
