I have decided to play around and switch fans on my celeron chips. I have a Retail fan on my 300a and some generic dual ball bearing fan rig on my 333. Here is the question--- the dual fan setup has this flesh colored tape for use as paste. I believe I should replace this with paste? Right? Second, I don't want to sink $9 and wait a week for Artic silver right now. The local PC "ripe-off" shop has some no-name paste in these little 3cc syringes for $3.99. I know, I am almost half way to my artic silver. But, is no-name thermal paste better than tape?

Usually the stuff in syringes is the silver paste is it not?
I could be wrong though.
Got a radio shack nearby? They have paste for a couple bucks.
