Either I'm retarded or don't know what to look for. I was wondering what kind of mobo I had. I'm new to this O/Cing stuff so go easy on me :)
PIII 733MHz
FSB 133 MHz
Mult. 5.5
OEM CPU and mobo
Here's the mobo info I got from a program called WCPUID:
Manufacturer: IntelCorporation
Product String: D8151EEA
Version String: AAA19243-206

And one other question; If i wanted to OC my CPU what should I change the FSB to and what program should I use?

-Thanks for your time-

I don't have hands-on with this mainboard. Intel manufactured mobos don't overclock at all---at least this was true in the past. P3EB processors(your P3EB 733 included) are designed to run on a 133 Mhz Front Side Bus, right out of the box. This means that they aren't the overclocker's best pal's. At least in days of olde when most mainboard's FSB's topped out at 150 Mhz.

The x5.5 Multiplier of your CPU is set in stone and can not be changed. All we have at our disposal for OCing P3E's is raising the FSB, and raising the Core Voltage--assuming that you've added better than a factory HSF to your CPU, and have ~40 cfm+ throughput in your case.

If your mainboard lets you, it's best to start the OC process by raising the FSB in small steps. There are a few software progs that let you change your FSB on the fly. It's SAFER(because SoftFSB may not handle your mainboard's PLL-Clock Chip correctly) to bump up the FSB/Memory Bus in Bios, or via jumpers on the mainboard! Best of luck!

OK, I downloaded a program called clockspeed that allows me to change my fsb and multiplier. It supports my PIII EB. Should I give it a try?

What do you suggest I change the fsb and multiplier too first to give it a try? I don't want to go too high yet because I don't have proper cooling yet (plan on getting an HSFon the weekend)should i go with 135MHz? 137 MHz?

BTW, thanks for helping me out kloster :)

OK, I just relized this program is only a clockspeed calculator, DAMNIT! *Rips hair out* Anyone know where I can get a program to change my FSB that supports my PIII EB?

Thanks for the specs Dave!

No such luck for me *cries* Board isn't suppoerted in SoftFSB or CPUFSB :( Oh well, that's what I get for ordering my PC from gateway.com. (Don't laugh, I bought this thing in August when I had no knowledge of OCing).

Oh yea, get this....I wanted to flash upgrade my BIOS so I go to intel.com, long story short, my comp doesn't support the newer version or some bullsh!t like that! (Don't remember what it said exactly) Surprise surprise........f- you Intel!!! This is the LAST time I buy any of their BS products! I'm so pissed right now....
