i herd u can send dos msges thru DOS if u know the persons IP how is this possible??? i herd uc an jsut liek type sumtina and send it in dos and it will pop up on the other computer in dos prompt

it ofcource doesnt work through routers, and the reciever has to have Win2k/XP/NT and messaging enabled for it to work.

In windows 98 and 95 you can send and recieve messages through a program called "Winpopup". The program must be open to recieve messages.

omg my friend started to get a ton of porno messages by net senders. He got SOO ****ed because he would get people net sending him like every time he tries to play a game. Well finaly he asked me what to do and I told him to get Zone Alarm firewall and he hasnt had a problem since. Please dont miss use this chat, it can really **** people off if they donno what it is. Oh yeah you can turn it off by typing in something in dos, but you have to do this every time you restart your computer.

you can turn it off by disabling the service.

Goto your administrative tools (in control panel), select "services" then stop and disable "Messanger Service". No firewalls or nothing else needed
