i have windows XP pro, and i knwo they did away with DOS in all aspects, and i also knwo the only way to get to it is with a bootdisk, but i DONT HAVE A FLOPPY DRIVE, lol. what files would i put on a CD-rom to boot off it? i know the windows ME disk is bootable but i cant find mine. :( is there any other way to get to the prompt? i need to flash my vid BIOS and my BIOS.

You are correct. They call it a "Command Prompt" you can do DOS like commands but it lacks the functionality of true DOS I think. You can make a CD-R bootable by making a boot image through Nero though which requires a floppy disk with the startup files on it. Its called a type 19 boot disk as I remember.
