Guyz I'll be down a rig for a few days. Sold the Abit KR7A, XP1600 Palomino, Hecules Prophet 2 GTS and Volcano 6. In the deal I got a new 9500 NP and $50 which will be spent on an NF7 non s 2.0. I've got a XP2100 Tbred B that will do 2.5Ghz on air waiting for a new home :D

I don't see it as a set back, I see it as a tiny step back-Giant leap foward :attn:.

Hope my output doesn't suffer too big a hit. I'll keep you guyz posted.

Hey Neb, I just turned a few back on for team 32, so maybe that will help cover for you. :)

Aww Fem, thanx! I owe ya. These suprise visits from you are rays of sunshine :)

Thanx kris :) Hopefully get the 3rd rig up soon.

Crap Xenocide  Hope you get those 4 rigz back up and running. I know what it's like losing a rig. Hang in there bro.

All my buddies who run madly-OC'ed NF7-S's all warned me to beware of refurb NF7's & NF7-S's of any revision number from the 'Egg. Supposedly the NF7 series production quality has been wildly varied and it's hit or miss whether you get a good one or not, and that pretty much all the 'furbs are supposedly the RMA'ed units from disappointed overclockers who couldn't get satisfactory OC performance from them. These mobos have probably been run hot and hard in their short first-sale lives, but will probably be fine running at normal non-oc speeds, but don't expect to build an extreme OC machine with one because it's most likely that somebody else already tried andf failed.

Now having said that, I just ordered a new NF7-S v2 from the 'Egg and I noticed that they have ceased accepting any more returns on these particular mobos. If you buy one from NewEgg and get an unsatisfactory unit, you are forced to deal directly with ABIT after the sale, so I accept taking the gamble in hopes of getting a good OC-able unit for my Barton 2500+ rig, which is down since I'm using its old mobo to build a computer for a friend who has no computer at all. I'm also down my 1.3GHz Celeron Linux folding borg since I need the Case, PSU, cdrom, nic and vid cards for the friend's PC. Hopefully I'll get a good OC-able NF7-S and will be able to push my Barton 2500+ chip much faster and make up for most of the lost 1.3G rig.

Meanwhile my production rate is in the toilet from losing these 2 more machines, but at least I've made it to the Team32 top 150 and ~60K pts :)
