I've got sitting on my desk a soyo dragon+ mb, 512 crucial xms 2700, amd xp 2000+, the stock amd fan and heat sink and the dragon orb 1 fan/heatsink, tube of artic silver. I want to throw this thing together this weekend but I've got a cooling question.

I mistakenly got the dragon orb 1 instead of 3. (mine is aluminum base not copper) but i got the retail amd chip with the fan. Which is better? I probably won't be overclocking for a while but you never know.

Right now I just want to get it running and don't want to order just a fan. Anyone know any local shops that carry good pc stuff in west denver area?

Since I goofed up I may upgrade to an even nicer fan but I've heard that even the dragon orb is a tight fit for this mb because of some capacitors. So it seems the volcano is out, but I don't know. Any other dragon plus owners let me know the biggest fan that fits on this mb.

Thanks,
Jeff
