I decided to create BIOS vault for all the DFI NF4 boards so we can have an updated list of all BIOS that are supported. The list will be upgraded over time and feel free to add any of the BIOS that I maybe have left out.

Tools that you may need:

A64 Tweaker / go with the V0.31 version.
Clockgen / just make sure to get the version that is supported by your mobo.
CPUz

First thing I want to mention is that DFI NF4 BIOS usually contain three versions, that is because each one is specifically designed to run with certain chips.

1. Version 1 is usually for TCCD/Micron/UTT-CH/UTT-BH/BH/CH. This is the general bios that should work ok but is not optimized for any specific memory.

2. Version 2 is for for UTT-CH/UTT-BH/BH/CH.

3. Version 3 is for the for TCCD/Micron.

NOTE: The table that contains BIOS will say that -3 is for both kinds of rams , -1 for TCCD etc. , -2 for BH5/CH5 etc, just wanted to let you know that this is incorrect and even thought it will work version 3 is TCCD/TCC5 optimized just like I mentioned above.

Now that you know that I will provide quick and easy flash guide!

This is for the Official BIOS with DIamond Flash Image!

You can get all of the official BIOS from the DFI Site.
First be sure to get one with the DiamondFlash Image for BIOS. After you got it d/l'd insert the disk in your floppy drive, double click on the green disk icon and it should automatically store the .BIN and awdflash on your floppy. Restart your system and set removable as first boot and it will start automatically. When it asks you to save your current BIOS say NO because you won't have enough space on your disk. Click YES when it asks you to proceed and be sure not to restart your computer or turn it off while the BIOS flashing is in process or otherwise you could damage your mobo!

When its done flashing, remove the floppy and hit F2 and you are done. To avoid any problems it is a good idea to always load BIOS optimized when the new BIOS is flashed.

This is for flashing with any BIOS and awdflash!

This works the same way but this time you will need to import the .BIN BIOS file to your floppy manually. There are two things that you will need on that disk in order to flash successfully and that is the .BIN BIOS file and the awdflash utility. The awdflash will automatically come with the any of the official BIOS and you can use it that way. Just make sure to remove the old .BIN BIOS file from your disk and add a new one.
After that just do the same thing as previously, reboot with the floppy in your floppy drive, set the removable as the first boot and restart. Only thing different this time around is that you may need to type in the flash command manually since the disk will still reffer to the originall .BIN that was previously on it.

To start flashing just type in the following command:

awdflash [BIOS Name].BIN and hit Enter, after that it should start detecting and from then on it will be the same procedure as done previously.

If you have trouble remembering the BIOS file name while in the DOS, just make sure that A: is active and type in DIR. This will automatically list all the files on your disk so you can use that as a refference.

Winflash!

For instructions on how to flash your BIOS through Windows check here!

Now that you know how to do it, the next post will contain the BIOS files!

I have "stickied" this thread. It sure beats rummaging around for bioses. Great job to everyone who contributed. I'm still hunting for the best one for my SD 3700+ and TCC5s. I've just began systematic testing. It's amazing how many setups pass Memtest86 with flying colors and fall flat on their face running Prime95 Torture Blend. I've started keeping better notes.

Thanx for the glue Hoot!

And btw you should try 7/02-3's since you are running TCC5's. These support new dividers since you most likely have the new RevE proc.

Good luck
