just a little news... my load temps have been around 34c and well today i went in my case and tried to straighten up the cable just a little more. I mean i keep them neat(and use rounded cables), but today i went in and moved some around to where i thought we better locations and now my load temps are at 30c.

I'm waiting for the day were cases are built with cable "grooves" or the price of setting up a machine shop comes down so I can do it my self.;)

Acrylic + Injection molder + machine shop + tools = ...hideous laughter:D :D :D

Easy come, easy go. :) You should do some more
investigating. It is likely that there is more going on
here. Something else changed or you are just recirculating
in a different way.

i think i will tinker with it some more tonight and try some other things. I know it mainly has to do with the path of the air going out of my case.

well couldn't wait for tonight. so, i added a fan on top of my video card (article of the frontpage not too long ago) with the motherboard standoffs. Now my load temps are at 28c :D

actually i haven't tried yet. But, i am going to run some benchmarks later on so i will overclock the cpu and the card farther than they are now and get back with you.

That sounds good, NASsoccer. I'm curious to see if it will help to push your system a little higher in overclocking. Plus, you'll be able to crank out the WU's a little faster too. :D BTW, how did that install of F@H turn out on your Win98 machines?

ah, the install on the 98 machines isn't going well at the moment but i can assure you that one way or another it will get on there:D
