just found this pretty cool site with lots of info about broadband bandwidth and tools for testing your connection speed, keeping a diary of your connection, letting you know about packet loss, routers that are down, tools for using WOL, etc etc...just thought I'd share even though I'm sure half of you have heard of it before.

you may also want to try 2wire.com. As a former dsl installer i would visit the above mentioned site as well as dslreports to check the speed of the dsl, if it fell in the range of the provided speed it was all good.

Just rember that your speed will not be exactly what they say you are getting, but if the sites give pretty close then your ok.
