ok, the only reason i thought of it that way was b/c if my computer is off my room stays cool, but when im gaming it gets a bit warmer in my room.

well, i think i have started to compile an idea of the parts i am looking at:

CPU Block: Swiftech MCW6002-775 for LGA775 CLICK HERE

GPU Block: Swiftech MCW50 GPU Cooler CLICK HERE

Radiator: Black Ice Pro II Dual 120mm Radiator CLICK HERE

Pump: Swiftech MCP350 pump CLICK HERE

Resivoir: Thermaltake Water Level Indicator CLICK HERE

I like these parts alot, but if anyone has any input on these parts i would appreciate that greatly, i am looking at that resivoir, b/c its small, and on my antec SOHO server case it has to rear fans, so which i can probably just take one out, maybe tap 4 holes, and just modify the fan holder and it'll sit right there above my VGA, i am kinda chosing this resivoir, for a couple of reasons, its small, and ive been kinda convinsed that i dont need that big of a resivoir, i dont have that much room, and i think if i fill my system with green fluid with my blue lights and the blue heatsink around the resivoir will look good, ive also thought of getting this: CLICK HERE and taping 4 holes in the top of my case and hanging the resivoir from the top of my case, which i am contiplanting right now if i want to do that or have the resivoir hang on that fan holder on the back...... well, this is just my start, i know danger den has a nice CPU cooler for the LGA775, but i personally like the Swiftech alittle better, something about its looks makes me want it more than the danger den one..... again any input will be appreciated greatly!

I wouldn't get the MCW50... even tho I bought one! :) You want to keep any Alu out of your loop, who need corrosion? Just get the Acetel/Delrin topped GPU block from DangerDen.
Good pump choice, moddable for more flow in the future. It's barbs are 3/8" tho, so an adapter or 3/8" into 1/2" tubing is needed.
Stay away from Thermaltake stuff!!! The Waterplant one looks better.

Looking good.

yeah ive been told to stay away from thermaltake on my other thread about my PSU, so i am going to be looking to invest into a OCZ right after i get my water cooled system going, and the reason i was looking to get the swiftech cooler for my GPU is that its cheaper, i dont really have the money for that 125.00$ danger den GPU block, but i will look around alittle more. and also for the waterplant one, i think i will go with that one after some thinking, and plus it shaves 10$ off my setup too!

one thing also, i just looked at some fittings to convert that pump from 3/8 to 1/2 and the barbs on the pump are full plastic, so how can i convert them to 1/2?

and if i cant convert it, sidewinder also has this CLICK HERE which i believe was voted as the 2nd best pump, and that already has 1/2 barbs on it so i wouldnt have to do any modifying.

Actually, I believe the Dangerden GPU waterblock being referred to, which is the one I recommend, is the $45 Maze4 GPU with acetal top. Instead of using adapters for the DDC pump, just put some 3/8"ID 1/2"OD tubing over the barbs on the pump, and stretch your 1/2" ID tubing over that, and clamp it down. I am doing something similar in my system, but with 7/16"ID tubing instead of 1/2"ID tubing. It saves the money on adapters, looks cleaner, and should have less restriction. Also, you can save some money by using a T line instead of a res.

oh, ok, i was thinking of another GPU block then, ty, and ill look into that tube idea, how much better is that one pump than the other? i know the 350 uses less power, and i really like its design, you'll have to keep me posted on how that tubing idea works.

I am currently using that setup in my loop, and have no problems at all. The MCP350 is much quieter than the 650, but lower flow. There is a mod that helps the flow for the 350, but it voids your warranty, and makes the pump a lot larger. I would do the mod if I could get a replacement top for my pump so if I mess it up, the pump is not ruined. If you decide not to get the MCP 350, I would go for the AquaXtreme 50z instead of the MCP 650.

lol, thats funny, b/c that was the pump i was looking at right before i found the 350, so ill probably go with that Aquaxtreme, i like its design better too, looks really cool, and from the specs it flows alot of water for only 5$ more so ill probably put that into my list instead

Weapon Core all the way, also get one of his shrouds.

Are the Weapon Cores that much better than something like a BIPII? I am contemplating getting one, but the Weapon Core is $30 more, one of the arguments for HC is usually the Price Advantage, but not in this case.

Shipping isnt really a prob, I'll get it shipped to a friend in the US to bring over for me. If I havr to pay shipping the Weapon Core would be $120, compared to the $65 of the BIPII
