Hi
Ive got a q about dual cpus.
Ive got 2 p3 650, slot 1 cpus and want to try to get a mobo so i can use them both. But dual slot1 boards are hard to find. So could I use a FCPGA board with some converters or something?

AP

There are no pga to slot 1 converters.
I have looked for one myself.
Maybe a asus p2b-d or -ds -d2.

Hey,

Look into the new revisions of the Tyan Tiger 133 (S1834). Also, check 2cup.com, and read their review.

If you don't mind spending $350 (which I doubt), look at the Supermicro
PIIIDRE. Great board (I have one), requires RDRAM though !!

Tyan Tiger 133 (S1834) is a horrible board for OC'ing. That's what my roomie has and it's very limited on what you can do. Only has one thermal sensor as well (cpu sensor).

I reinforce the VP6 suggestion, It works wonders for overclocking(Abit's softmenu) and it is one of the best performing boards that I have seen.

If you can find one of the older Tyan Tiger 100s they were a better overclocking board. The 133 is not a good choice if you want to OC!

Might I humbly suggest the Abit VP6? I think its the best.http://www.abit-usa.com/english/product/motherboards/vp6.gif"]

I love the vp6 as well, but I dont see how one earth he can get his slot 1 cpu's to work with it :)

The Vp6 IMHO is the best dual p3 cpu board around, however it wont help in this case, it dose Not working slot one cpu's.

Any other ideas?
