I currently have a pair of rather weak speakers that have an "A" input and a "B" input. I have both my computers (which are right next to eachother) plugged into these and have worked great sincce 96. Well, its 2002, and I want more. I need a pair of speakers, good quality, and Analog, that have two analog inputs in them. I was thinking I could use my headphone splitter and run the two cables into it, then the other end into the speakers, but this could damage them. Am I too lucky and have the only model of speakers with the capability of two simultaneous inputs? Help me choose!

i dont think any of the newer speakers have two inputs, i have some old ones with that on them to, you could put the output of one computer into the inpu of the other computer, you might even gain some db with that setup, thats kinda how i run my suround sound, i use my o/b 5.1 though and no reciever.

Are both systems going to be running and playing sound through the speakers at the same time? If so then what you need is called a mixer. Where should you look for one at? I don't know. You might try radio shack. Anyway, wherever you go that's what you want to tell them your looking for. Here's a couple of simple circuits that you might be able to build yourself and might suit your needs.
