i have dual monitor setup, i would like to put them right next each other, but when i do, i get some distortion on the sides where they are close to each other, i guess the EMF's are leaking out or something, is there something i can do to stop this? aluminum foil? something? anybody ever had this problem

Monitors are already shielded somewhat against EMI, but go ahead and try the foil--it might help. Go for a couple of layers. Or like one of those alumnium baking pans?

Seccond thought--are both monitors fuzzy? Maybe only one is causing the interference...

Sorry I couldn't be of more help,
