Dual p3-750 on VP6

Ok i put both cpus in (including my Volcano III fans) boots up fine saying 2 cpus.
I go to overclock (which i did earlier with one to see what i could get to saftly)
and it boots up saying 1000B but only reporting 1 cpu. Any idea on why it drops cpu 2?
