I have a VH6-2 and a generic 300w PSU. It is not set up for redundant PSU, however I have a extra 250w PSU not in use right now. How would I get this to work to power fans, harddrives, and cd-roms? Also have my 300w PSU run my MoBo? Is this just a matter of changing the wires that attach to the MoBo? P.S. the 250w PSU is off of a 486/66 and doesn't have standard ATX MoBo connection.

Thank you for the link, now I know it can be done. Only problem is that this iPSU does not have the standard ATX MoBo connection, this is off of an old 486 and has 12 wires. All of them are in a straight line and no green one. I may try one wire at a time to try and get to work just scared of blowing up the PSU.
