I still play all the originals via dos box .... the good old games where so much better in my opinion story and gameplay wise besides the graphics ... that was when the story ment more to users then great looks as it does now.

I only had the demo but I spent a lot of time in the projection booth of the theater in that one level

Lol nice.... the game is 100% free now though. freeware shareware whatever you call it.

I'm talking about the head at 3DR responsible for changing engines everytime the wind blew, which ultimately led to there never being a DNF in the first place since he forced them to start over everytime a new tech was released.

You can buy a flying car here and here. But you're right, I kinda doubt we'll ever see it unless they release the source code for a 'Black Mesa' type 3rd party project.
