dvd Lock ups

Has this happened to you?...

When Im watching a DVD Movie (on my computer of course!!), at any given point....the picture will stop, but the sound will continue.

It happens using Media Player 9, Real Player One, Win DVD 2 and 4,

now to me its Obviously not a PLayer software issue but rather a system issue being it happens in all of the player/decoders I use...

any suggestions on what to check/modify?

one stupid suggestion, clean the surface of your dvd and try again it can happen a lot if your dvd is "dirty"

Tried cleaning several dvds' and still no go....Picture still stops and sound keeps going..any other ideas?
