Is lack of matrix raid the only reason? I only ask this because I don't plan on using raid any time soon. I'll probably deal with seek times by getting a hybrid drive at some point. I meant with the E6400.batboy said:Not exactly correct. Default multiplier and FSB for the E6600 is 9X266, so 420 FSB would net you 3.78 gig. The E6600 hits 3.6 gig at 400 FSB. Not many rigs with air cooling will go past that point.
