Early End Units.

I was checking out the status of my new 3.0c system, and noticed that I had 2 early end units, both within the first 3%. There are also a good ahnd full of completed units, and Im thinking that there are some bad units out there. Anyone else notice anything?

I've only ever gotten that when I wasn't fully stable, but from the sound of it your "new 3.0c" isn't overclocked yet, I assume. If that's the case then I guess they must be bad units.

Nope, everything is stock.

Are you sure it's stable even at stock speeds? If it's stable, then I geuss there must be some floating around.

I've only ever gotten a couple, and it's when I wasn't stable.

Stock yes but is it stable? Have you run prime on it? Just because its new doesnt mean its all good. You may have a defective component.

Or it could be your memory timings.

Alright, Ill try prime and see. I hope that nothing is bad. Ill be pretty unahppy if there is.

Ive ran into a few of the early end unit wus. Have gotten them on various machines. I figured there are a few of them floating around. Been happening about a week now. All of the machines that got them have been stable for over a year.
