eax and stuff tutorial - how do i set everything?

i got a live! 5.1 and id like to know if anyone know of a website or something about a proper way to configure all the sound options i have. ive never tried eax and things like this before so its kinda complicated to figure out everything. is there an online tutorial?

don't know too much about it, but as far as the eax goes, i believe you just have to enable it in your sound options, then whatever games or programs that can will use it . . .

i beleive so. id like to understand the difference the other options have on the games, like setting my own environment options and creating presets and this kind of stuff.
