Effect of 150 FSB on External modem?

At 150, the PCI is 33MHz but I'm not entirely sure that the legacy serial ports would be going through anything other than the legacy 8MHz bus anyway.

Whatever, I am at 150 and use an external modem which seems no slower on this board than it did on my old BE6-2 which ran at standard 33.3MHz bus

You are absolutely correct.
I think it is my ISP getting a bit flakey. Seems slow one time then speeds up at other times. But I do think this external is faster overall that the winmodem, don't you agree?

Time to go cable I think!!
