i just bought a used eheim 1250 and it works great... but it didn't come with the attachment to be used as an outside pump.... so can someone tell me what the size of the inlet fitting is? and where can i get one? maybe home depot?

i want to run 3/8" hose from it...

thanks for any info...

I use the same and I believe the inlet is a 3/4" to 3/8" adapter. You can get a plastic/nylon one at any hardware store for under a buck. Get the screw in kind. But what you really want to do is get a 3/4" to 1/2" screw on. It will stretch the hell outta the hose but you will get as large a hole as is the 3/8" tubing. Trust me. The outlet is 1/2" too.
