Hiya !

Just a small question to that one...i know that overclocking is generally hard with that one...but does anyone knows an "easy" way to overclock a Athlon C 1200GHZ with it ?
Any recommends about setting etc. ?

Here`s the rest of the configuration:

- 320MB PC 133 Ram
- GeForce 2 MX 32MB
- Enermax 350W Power Unit
- enough coolers :)

THX a lot,

Ciaco

possible... but through either jumperless bios settings,
or on the chip via bridge and voltage mods...

i don't see any jumpers, and i'm unfamiliar with the bios settings available.
above all... i'd be skeptical about that chipset. it's reported at one site as a KT133.. but not at the official ECS spec page?

whats the deal with that?

Hi!
My friend got the following from the shop where he gots the board from:

VIA KT133&686B
462-pin Socket A (AMD Thunderbird
& Duron support at 200/266 MHz FSB)
AGP 4X
UDMA/66/100
integrated AC97 audio function
Magic Setting IV
Suspend to RAM
Hardware-Monitoring
3x DIMM (max. 1,5 GB)
1x AGP (4x)
5x PCI
1x AMR

I m sure its the KT133 Chipset, but i also know from some reviews, that there isn t much to change at BIOS.

See that info from tomshardware:
"This product offers few possibilities for overclocking. Thus, the CPU bus clock can only be adjusted from 100 to 112 MHz and not even in 1 MHz steps. Furthermore, the DRAM clock can only be switched between 100 and 133 MHz. An adjustment of the Vcore voltage is not possible."

But this is about Rev. 1.0, let s say it s same at this new revision, still any chance to run the 1,2GHZ CPU faster ?

Anyone knows, if i could use a software to modify some settings ???

THX ,

Ciaco

Huhh...that looks hard to me :)
I just thought modifying those settings is also possible by a software ?
